The story behind this book:
C. S. Cooper is the vice president of the ACT branch of the Fellowship of Australian Writers. At one of their meetings, a member read her grandson Jackson Forestier's version of the gingerbread man. She then told how her grandson, in adulthood, established a construction business that was impacted by the Covid19 lockdowns in 2020.

Inspired by the uniqueness of the story and wanting to help, Cooper rewrote Jackson's story in limerick verse and published this children's book. All the profits will go to help Jackson rebuild his business.
